Passion for Online Poker
The year was 1992. Street Fighter II just came out. I was about five years old and never been as enthralled by anything so thrilling before in my life. E. Honda and Dhalsim were my favorite oddball fighting heroes. Granted I was only five years old, but the point remains that I fell in love with a game. Sixteen years later and the same thing has occurred, but this time, it is online poker.
Nowadays, instead of E. Honda and Dhalsim as my favorite heroes, I now look up to Scotty Nguyen and Chris “Jesus” Ferguson. Instead of mashing up Nintendo controllers, I now use my mouse and keyboard in online poker to rake in the cash and winnings in real money poker games. Not only can I play anytime and any day I want but I can also play with anyone from around the entire globe. The wonders of online poker. Online poker offers true competition especially online poker tournaments or even Sit & Go tournaments where I can analyze my opponents’ behavior to track their tells. I do have to admit that online poker offers different challenges, but I welcome challenges. It just adds to the fun and exhilaration I get from playing online poker.
